Due to being added to the list of both FTSE and V.N.M ETFs, POW was actively traded by foreign investors, with a large amount of these shares being traded by foreign organisations through the agreement method.
The market closed the week when two ETF funds traded with the recovery of the indexes after a series of consecutive drops. Ending the trading week, VN-Index stood at 959.2 points, up 0.59% compared to the previous week. HNX-Index increased by 1.34% to 104.85 points.
Because the two ETF funds, FTSE and V.N.M, jointly implemented their portfolio, foreign investors’ transactions were very exciting. On the whole market, foreign investors bought 138 million shares, worth VND 4,715 billion, while sold 151.5 million shares, worth VND 4,898 billion. Total net selling volume reached 13.3 million shares, equivalent to net selling value of VND 182.6 billion.
On HoSE, foreign investors net sold 209 billion dong, equivalent to net selling volume of 12.2 million shares. Foreign investors on Hochiminh securities trading floor made a net buy of VND 100 billion through agreement method. Therefore, if only matching orders, foreign investors will net sell up to 309 billion dong.

In general, POW was net bought 133.4 billion. The domestic E1VFVN30 ETF continued to be net bought by foreign investors with VND 122 billion. BVH still saw a net buying of over 72 billion dong in the week. HPG, despite being in the strong decline of FTSE, was net bought over VND 55 billion for the whole week.
Meanwhile, VHM tops the list of HoSE’s discount prices with 172.7 billion dong. Two shares of STB and DPM were removed from the list of V.N.M ETF so they were net sold strongly by foreign investors with a value of VND 133 billion and VND 99 billion respectively.
On HNX, foreign investors returned net selling of VND 4.3 billion, equivalent to a net selling volume of 750,000 shares.
Foreign investors HNX bought the most of PVS with 8.5 billion dong. Meanwhile, TNG was sold the most on HNX with 5.8 billion dong. After that, DBC was net sold 3.2 billion dong.
On UPCoM, foreign investors saw the 3rd net buying week in a row, with a value of over 31 billion dong, but in terms of volume, they net sold 309,000 shares.
ACV topped the list of net buyers of foreign investors on UPCoM with VND 26.3 billion. QNS also net bought 13 billion dong. Meanwhile, BSR was sold the most with a value of 15.6 billion dong.
